Begin our tour at the Ferry Building where we will met our local guide, Craig Smith and see the “R-Evolution”, a 47 foot-tall, 32,000 pound wire sculpture of a woman that will be on display until October. Then it is off to see some of DouglasTilden’s famous works including “The Mechanic’s Monument”, “Admission Day Monument”, and “California Volunteers.

After a stop at Lotta’s Fountain, it is off to the de Young Museum to see Douglas
Tilden’s “The Tired Boxer”, as well as other works of art he influenced. There will
be time for an independent lunch at the de Young Café, and to explore the Museum
and gift shop at your leisure.
