Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Monday, September 16th          To the Coast & Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach     (L)
Travel to the Central Coast, stopping for lunch along the way. Settle in at the Ventura Crowne Plaza, the only hotel on the beach and just two blocks from historic downtown Ventura. You can stroll along the beach front promenade to the Ventura Pier or watch the sunset from the ocean-side patio.

Day 2 Tuesday, September 17th      Ronald Reagan Presidential Library               ( B, L)
Today we will tour the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the repository of presidential records from the Reagan administration. Located in Simi Valley, the library is administered by the National Archives and Records Administration and is the burial place of Ronald and Nancy Reagan. More than twenty galleries highlight the life and times of America’s 40th president. Enjoy a hosted luncheon at the Air Force One Pavilion.

Day 3 Wednesday, September 18th       Guided Tour of Santa Barbara & Montecito             (B)
Travel up the scenic coast to Santa Barbara. This city on the central California coast with the Santa Ynez Mountains as dramatic backdrop, was founded in 1786. The downtown is filled with Mediterranean-style white stucco buildings with red-tile roofs reflecting the city’s Spanish colonial heritage. Enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful area followed by time for an independent lunch and shopping. You can also visit the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, or visit any of the other gallery collections located in downtown Santa Barbara.
Day 4 Thursday, September 19th      Channel Islands Visitor Center & Home                    (B, L)
This morning we will visit the Robert J. Lagomarsino Visitor Center at Channel Islands National Park. We will continue on to the United States Navy Seabee Museum at Port Hueneme. The Museum displays historic material relating to the history of the Naval Construction Force, better known as the Seabees. Return home with a stop for a hosted lunch.
